    Explores the essentials of illustration for graphic designers and concept artists, using industry-standard production and design tools. Focuses on professional studio techniques to master this essential design tool for the creation of sophisticated graphics. Emphasizes efficient workflow, technical proficiency, and aesthetic judgment. Students produce portfolio-ready projects using a broad range of imaging skills. The primary software used includes Adobe Photoshop, supplemented with Adobe Illustrator, and some time-based media software. Same as DM 162.
