    Description
Block 4 of the Supervisory Leadership Institute (SLI) advances law enforcement supervisors’ leadership skills through the applied study of communication, team dynamics, and organizational change. Participants analyze common barriers to effective team performance, practice effective presentation and active listening techniques, and explore strategies for principled policing and adaptive leadership. Through team projects, case studies, and reflection, students strengthen their ability to lead functional teams, facilitate dialogue, and manage change within complex law enforcement environments. This course is one of eight SLI courses; completion of all eight (CJA 091A–091H) is required to earn the Certificate of Achievement. Designed for POST Supervisory Leadership Institute (SLI) cohorts.
