    Description
    Block 1 of the Supervisory Leadership Institute (SLI) introduces first-line and mid-level law enforcement leaders to the principles of adaptive leadership, self-awareness, and professional purpose. Through guided discussion, group exercises, case studies, and reflective practice, participants examine personal values, leadership paradigms, accountability, and meaning in service. The course emphasizes the foundation of ethical leadership, the development of reflective habits, and the initiation of a personal adaptive leadership project. This course is one of eight SLI courses; completion of all eight (CJA 091A–091H) is required to earn the Certificate of Achievement. Designed for POST Supervisory Leadership Institute (SLI) cohorts.
