    Introduces early childhood teachers to basic math and science principles and the standards established by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National Science Content Standards for early learning environments, the Preschool/Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations (PTKLF), and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). This course includes theoretical and practical applications for problem-solving and critical thinking that are common in math and science curriculum. Students will develop a collection of appropriate math/science activities for early childhood environments.
