The course curriculum focuses on theory, operation, function, diagnosis, and service of modern hybrid and electric vehicles. Additionally, students will work with and examine various high-voltage systems, learning how to safely work with these systems. Electric motors, lithium-ion batteries, hybrid transaxles, and electric inverters/converters will be covered. Field trips may be required.
