Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionProvides the first of a two-part leadership course in which students will learn and practice leadership techniques that will help them create effective change in the workplace, home, school, and community. Students will improve their basic skills through intensive, interactive, student-centered activities. The course requires participation in the four areas of language acquisition: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Recommended for ABE and ESL Intermediate and above students. Five high school elective credits may be awarded for completing either ABE 044 or HSS 090.
