- Instructs and familiarizes entry-level students in academic vocabulary for science courses. Prepares students to take high school subjects in science, job training, high school equivalency preparation, or college credit classes. Recommended for Advanced ESL students or above and/or placement by counselor assessment. One high school elective credit may be granted for successful completion of this class.
