    Prerequisite: None. Total lecture 54 hours. This course is designed for students who need to understand and speak Spanish confidently at a basic level. Emphasis will be made on oral practice, pronunciation and vocabulary building through the use of everyday situations. This course is neither a prerequisite nor equivalent to SPAN P101 and can be taken concurrently with SPAN P101. (A/CSU/UC)
