    Description
    Prerequisite: MATH P103 or equivalent. Recommended: High school physics or PHYS 102A or equivalent. Total lecture 54 hours, laboratory 54 hours. Analysis of mechanics using methods in calculus, Newton's laws of motion, energy, momentum, rotation, gravity, oscillations and wave mechanics and fluid mechanics. The first of a three-semester sequence. (A/CSU/UC)
