This course builds on concepts of nursing practice for the acquisition and application of pediatric nursing theory, communication, collaboration, and clinical judgment necessary for safe, patient-centered nursing care of diverse children, their families, and other support persons. The course incorporates legal and ethical responsibilities of the Registered Nurse in the care of children. Application of knowledge and skills occurs in a variety of clinical settings.
