Total lecture 36 hours, total laboratory 108 hours. This course builds on concepts of nursing practice for the acquisition and application of family, reproductive health, and maternal/child nursing theory, communication, collaboration, and clinical judgment necessary for safe, patient-centered nursing care of the reproducing family and other support persons. The course incorporates the legal and ethical responsibilities of the Registered Nurse in the care of reproducing families.
