This course requires additional hours outside of the arranged hours for rehearsal and performances. The band participates in major concerts, performs for school and community organizations and may tour during the spring semester. Different literature will be studied each semester. Instrumental techniques, including playing posture, embouchure and/or playing technique, fingerings, and interpretation are emphasized. Participation at public performances is required.
