Vocal placement to be made during first week of class. Total laboratory 54 hours, plus 18 hours arranged. The chorale participates in major concerts, performs for school and community organizations and may tour during the spring semester. Different literature will be studied each semester. Vocal techniques, including posture, breath support, vowel and consonant formation, pitch evaluation and interpretation are emphasized. Participation at public performances is required.
