    Description
    Prerequisite: None. Total lecture 54 hours, total laboratory 54 hours. This course is a general introduction to the earth sciences: geology, oceanography, meteorology, and astronomy. Together this class and the accompanying lab will give students a well-rounded understanding of the earth environment that surrounds them and how they can interact with that environment for the betterment of themselves and their fellow citizens. The course is designed for, but not limited to, liberal studies majors who are seeking an Elementary Teaching Credential. Course is approved for pass/no pass grading option.
