    Description
    Prerequisite: Elementary Algebra or equivalent or appropriate math placement as determined by the PC multiple measures.Total lecture 54 hours. This introductory course focuses on economic issues from the viewpoint of the whole economy. Topics include: market systems, GDP and other macroeconomic measures of production, macroeconomic equilibrium, unemployment, inflation, economic growth, monetary and fiscal policy, financial institutions, and international economics.
