    Total lecture 54 hours. Prerequisite: None. This course will introduce students to the world of business from the point of view of running a business as an entrepreneur. Students will create a business plan for a hypothetical company. This plan will include a description of the business, location, products, services, analysis of competition, market survey, marketing strategies, organizational structure, legal issues, business forms, financial plans, and financial projections. Activities will include reading, writing, discussion, direct and indirect research of the following topics: raising capital, financial analysis, negotiation, marketing, budgeting, business math, accounting principles, team work, problem solving, and decision making.
