The course will review the scientific method, the historical development of evolutionary theory, recognized mechanisms producing genetic change, adaptation, and speciation, comparative analysis of primate anatomy and behavior, the fossil and archaeological record for human origins, human biocultural adaptations, and modern human biological variation.
