Description: Intermediate medical surgical nursing theory and concepts to promote and maintain safe, developmentally appropriate, outcome-focused health care for culturally diverse adult and geriatric medical surgical patients. Integrate professional nursing roles of clinician, teacher, leader, and advocate while demonstrating critical thinking and nursing process in the care of patient response to physiological and psychosocial health conditions of adult and geriatric patients. Total of 36 hours lecture.
