    Description
    For the entering classical, jazz, and commercial music majors consisting of twelve 45-minute private lessons with an instructor on the Applied Music staff, participation in a weekly music recital class, and an end-of-semester jury performance. Topics include intermediate technical etudes and exercises, tone production, scales, and short performance pieces. Recommended enrollment in smaller ensemble and/or jazz groups. Maximum of 4 enrollments allowed in the Applied Music Family: MUSC 008 , 009A -E. Total of 18 hours lecture and 18 hours laboratory. This course may be scheduled using the “To Be Arranged” (TBA) scheduling format.
