You will develop and refine the essential algebra and trigonometry skills needed to succeed in your first semester of calculus. In addition to mathematical skills, you'll gain valuable study strategies to ensure your success in your upcoming calculus course. This course covers selected topics from precalculus, trigonometry, and college algebra that are essential for success in first-semester calculus. Emphasis is placed on reviewing and applying rational, radical, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions providing the foundational knowledge required for first semester calculus.
