    Description
    This course provides an in-depth introduction to CNC milling operations, focusing on programming, machine setup, and operational procedures using G-codes and M-codes. Students will learn how to develop CNC programs for machining simple parts, set up CNC mills for operation, and troubleshoot common issues such as work offset coordinate errors. The course includes hands-on lab sessions where students will gain practical experience in workholding, tool selection, and machine calibration. Emphasis is placed on understanding and applying technical concepts in a real-world manufacturing environment. By the end of the course, students will be proficient in programming, setup, and operation of CNC milling machines and will have developed essential problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and optimizing CNC processes. Total 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
