- Preparation to become a telemetry technician, including continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring, analyzing and interpreting rhythms. Practice and maintain cardiac monitor. Successful completion of this course will qualify the student for the national telemetry certification examination and employment as a telemetry technician. Pass/No pass. Total of 36 hours lecture and 108 hours laboratory.
