    Description
    Historical costume construction using domestic and industrial sewing machines to develop skill in the application of techniques suitable for theater, film, costume shop and wardrobe. Samples demonstrating historical construction skills for time periods 100 years or more in the past. Emphasis on construction and reproduction of historical garments. Required instructional trips. See Class Schedule for details. Total of 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
