    Description
    Analysis of the psychology of Mexican Americans and Chicano/a as compared to mainstream society and other marginalized communities. Focus on issues such as racism, family, identity, relationships, religion/spirituality, mental and physical health, cultural expressions, and civic engagement. Emphasis placed on the intersectionalities of race, immigration status, ethnicity, gender, class, sexuality, etc. No credit if taken after PSYC 082 or PSYC 031. Total of 54 hours lecture.
