- Reading and discussion of selected texts from the traditions and literature of Native Americans and other indigenous-identified groups with some discussion of history and art; with major emphasis on tribal lore, fiction, poetry, biography and other forms of cultural expression. Total of 54 hours lecture. No credit if taken after ENGL 051 or ENGL 055 .
