    Description
    History of different Indigenous peoples of Native America. Focus on the sociocultural, political, and economic institutions and the impact of U.S. government policies. Emphasis on race, ethnic and language background, class, reservation status, gender, sexuality and interethnic relations. No credit if taken after HIST 051 or HIST 012. Total of 54 hours lecture.
