    Description
User Experience Design (UX) focuses on the quality of experience a person has when interacting with a device-based design. User Experience focuses on the needs and wants of the user, as well as ease-of-use, and designs for the best possible user experience. Common device forms, design process and standards, documentation, and tools used within the UX field are all introduced. Students work collaboratively to define project parameters, conduct original research, develop information architecture, interaction design compositions, conduct usability testing, and present a proof-of-concept project in UX that showcases professional standards in the field. No credit if taken after ART 063. Total of 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
