    Description
    An introduction to digital tools and design principles for visual communication. Students learn foundational skills in digital media while exploring the integration of text and image in original design projects. Topics include visual communication, composition, visual hierarchy, and concept development. Emphasis is placed on creative problem-solving and building a foundation for further study in design and media arts. Total of 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
