    Description
    In this course, students learn and apply foundational rhetorical theories and techniques of public speaking in a multicultural democratic society. Students discover, develop, and critically analyze ideas in public discourse through research, reasoning, organization, composition, delivery to a live audience and evaluation of various types of speeches, including informative and persuasive speeches. This is an honors course. This enriched course is designed for the Honors Program requiring students to use stronger analytical skills to research and deliver speeches of more advanced topics. No credit if taken after COMM C1000, SPCH 001, or SPCH 001H. Formerly SPCH 001H. Total of 54 hours lecture.
