Deeper theoretical study of light and camera sensors inform development and practice of advanced lighting and camera techniques for both film and digital video. Introduction to specialized technologies and techniques including special effects cinematography and virtual production. Emphasis on the cinematographer’s role in scene creation based on script analysis, as well as overall visual design of an entire film. In-depth examination of the different crew positions of the camera crew combined with practical experience. Creation of work for professional portfolio.
