    Description
    Introduction to the fundamental technical and aesthetic principles of motion picture photography. Practical training in the use of motion picture cameras. Introduction to image control through exposure, lighting, and selection of film, camera, lens, and filters. Examination of the cinematographer as a visual storyteller to develop a broader understanding of the balance between artist and technician. Examination of the different crew positions and processes of the camera, lighting, and grip crews. Total of 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
