A mechanistic approach to the reactions of alcohols, phenols, ethers and epoxides, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids and their derivatives and amines. Photochemistry, organic redox, polymerization, rearrangements, synthesis and an introduction to biochemical molecules. Qualitative analysis, natural products, multistep synthesis and kinetics.
