    A study of research-based approaches to the care and education of infants and toddlers in group settings. Emphasizes the application of current theory and developmental research to the design and implementation of high-quality environments, caregiving routines, and curriculum for children birth to 36 months. Examines regulations, program standards, and practices that promote healthy relationships, continuity of care, cultural responsiveness, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all infants and toddlers. Total of 54 hours lecture.
