- Survey of contemporary art and visual culture from 1945 to the present considered through a world art studies framework that integrates discussion of contemporary artistic themes, media, critical theory, aesthetics, and vocabulary within and moving away from postmodern discourses. Focus on postmodern and metamodern artistic practices and theories. Total of 54 hours lecture.
