- Introduction to ceramic materials and processes including basic design principles, creative development, hand-building, throwing, glazing techniques, firing, and ceramic terminology. This course covers aesthetics and creative development of clay objects, examining historical, contemporary, and personal modes of expression. Total of 36 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
