    Explore the field of biological anthropology, emphasizing the evolution of the human species. Topics include human heredity, mechanisms of human change, human variation, and the reconstruction of human evolutionary history through examination of the fossil record and comparative studies of our closest biological relatives, the living apes. This enriched course is designed for the Honors Program allowing, more student-directed discussions and more extensive writing assignments. No credit if taken after ANTH 001 .
