Includes tree biology, tree identification, plant health care, soils, nutrition, planting, worker safety, climbing, pruning, tree care tools and equipment. Provides the knowledge necessary to be successful in the tree care profession. This course prepares the student to obtain a Certified Arborist designation through the International Society of Arboriculture. Required field trips. See Class Schedule for details.
