A continued study of the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures, focusing on the refined use of intermediate-level structures and readings of culturally relevant authentic materials. Emphasis is on the expansion of cross-cultural awareness, as well as, the development of language skills in order to acquire communicative competence in Spanish. Teaches culture and facilitates language acquisition through listening, speaking, reading and writing. Interacts with more sophisticated authentic language in context.
