    Description
    A humanities course designed for advanced multilingual learners of English that examines multi-cultural works and emphasizes skills in critical thinking and analysis. This course develops students' abilities to critically analyze and respond both objectively and subjectively to published materials from culturally diverse traditions. It features practice in written communication, research strategies, synthesis of sources, and critical reading. Readings provide exposure to a range of genres and cultures to develop a broader cultural understanding of the world.
