This course contains the same content as MATH 110, but includes more instruction time to help students who can benefit from additional support. Topics will include the study of the behavior and characteristics of functions from graphic, numeric, analytic and applied perspectives, including general polynomial functions, rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, and sequences. Systems of equations in several variables with an emphasis on matrix solutions. A review of prerequisite core concepts and college success content will be integrated throughout the course. Active learning techniques involving multiple modalities that include individual and/or group active learning projects/activities and/or student presentations will be used.
