You’ll practice planning, promoting, and evaluating programs that are engaging, inclusive, and relevant to the community. You'll explore how to use advocacy, branding, market research, publicity, and assessment to create successful programs. You’ll also get hands-on experience with tools that today’s library professionals rely on, including collaboration software, graphic design platforms, social media, and generative AI. As a final course project, you’ll work collaboratively to create a dynamic library program that meets community needs and demonstrates the value of libraries.
