Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThe course is the third in a series of four courses that allow students to write, report, and edit news and feature content for Palomar's student news media. This class makes up the staff of the independent, student-run publication called The Telescope, Palomar's campus newspaper since 1948. It also publishes Palomar's independent news magazine called Impact Magazine. The course teaches advanced-level story development, reporting, and interviewing according to journalism standards. Students will continue to write and produce, but also begin editing fact-based news, features, sports, and opinion content for online and printed publications, as well as produce multimedia news elements. The course will include more difficult types of news writing, features and multimedia packages.Usually HeldThu 11:00am–2:05pm, Thu 11:10am–2:15pm, Thu 11:15am–2:20pm, Thu 9:00am–12:05pm
