Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThe course is the second in a series of four courses that allow students to write, report and publish news and feature content for Palomar's student news media. This class makes up the staff of the independent, student-run publication called The Telescope, Palomar's campus newspaper since 1948. It also publishes Palomar's independent news magazine called Impact Magazine. The course teaches intermediate-level story development, reporting, and interviewing according to journalism standards. Students will continue to write and produce fact-based news, features, sports, and opinion content for online and printed publications. They will also focus on multimedia news elements.
