Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course introduces students to the principles, techniques, and creative processes of draping as a method of garment design and pattern development. Students learn to manipulate fabric directly on the dress form to achieve design concepts, translate draped garments into patterns, and evaluate fit and style. Emphasis is placed on workroom tools, form preparation, foundational garment shapes, and sleeve variations.
