    Description
This course builds on the introductory course to further develop student's skills in the use of design software and operating computer numerical control (CNC) routing machines used for manufacturing wood products. Students will design advanced 3D components, document designs with drawings, create tool paths for the CNC, generate CNC programs, and operate the CNC router to manufacture parts. While emphasis is placed on wood based products the skills and knowledge gained are transferrable to many disciplines and media.
