    Description
This course focuses on the integration of lighting and solar design systems within buildings, with an emphasis on energy-efficient solutions. Students will learn how to use energy modeling tools and techniques to optimize building performance, focusing on daylighting analysis, solar panel integration, and the impact of building orientation and shading on energy use. The course will guide students through the process of preparing realistic, client-ready design drawings and reports that demonstrate how lighting and solar design can reduce energy consumption and contribute to achieving zero-energy building status.
