    Description
    This course introduces students to the fundamentals of architectural design and construction through the study of building codes, zoning, and professional practice. Emphasis is placed on residential design, including feasibility studies, site planning, program development, and digital modeling. Students will progress from case studies and massing studies to complete design documentation, integrating code compliance, construction methodology, and presentation skills. The course culminates in a final project that demonstrates a comprehensive, code-informed design solution.
