    This course examines the application of the scientific method to crime scene investigation, with a focus on the collection, processing, and analysis of physical evidence. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on lab activities, students will examine techniques and principles related to trace evidence, bloodstain pattern analysis, footwear and tire impressions, firearms and ballistics, questioned documents, toxicology, and serology. The course emphasizes accurate evidence handling and documentation practices essential to forensic science and criminal investigations.
