    Description
    This course covers the theory and application of shield metal arc welding (SMAW). Emphasizes safety and procedures, use of SMAW consumables & welding equipment and enhanced welding techniques to produce 3G (vertical) and 4G (overhead) welded test specimens according to AWS acceptable criteria for limited thickness on carbon steel.
