    Description
    Introduction to Stagecraft is an introduction to technical theatre and the creation of scenic elements. The class covers the history and introductory theories of design, painting techniques, set construction, set movement, prop construction, backstage organization, and career possibilities. The course may also explore at least one of the following additional topics: stage management, lighting, or sound techniques. Course activities include lecture, reading, quizzes, and projects.
